East European influx 'could trigger race riots in villages'

East European influx 'could trigger race riots in villages'

Race riots could erupt in rural towns and villages with large numbers of Eastern European immigrants, a Government report will warn.

A special commission says community tensions are now more likely to overheat in rural areas than northern mill towns with a history of troubles.

Councils will be told they must draw up integration plans if they are to ward off civil disturbance.

The findings by the Government's Commission on Integration and Cohesion, established by Communities Secretary Ruth Kelly a year ago, will disturb Whitehall.

The authorities have so far focused on calming tensions between white communities and long- standing ethnic minority groups.

These erupted in 2001 with rioting in Oldham, Burnley and Bradford.

Now they are being told to switch the focus to small towns and villages put under enormous pressure by the influx of at least 630,000 Eastern Europeans since May 2004.

Ed Cox, a member of the commission, told the Local Government Chronicle: "The analysis would suggest cohesion tensions in the future are more likely to be experienced in unexpected places where 'diversity' is new.

"Councils in these areas need to be ahead of the game and have in place cohesion and integration plans of a different kind from those of the northern mill towns."

Mr Cox, who is also head of policy at the Local Government Information Unit, singled out the East of England as one area which may be at particular risk.

Professor Ted Cantle, head of the Institute of Community Cohesion, said the arrival of new ethnic groups in communities already grappling with changes to local economies or facing housing shortages could trigger racial tension.

Professor Cantle, who wrote the Government reports into the 2001 riots, added: "There are deeper social and psychological impacts of people feeling loss for some kind of past way of life. Where you have new inward migration, people can latch on to that. But it is important to distinguish between the trigger and the underlying reason."

Last month, Freedom of Information requests by the Daily Mail revealed that an unprecedented influx from the former Eastern Bloc has increased the population of some towns by almost 10 per cent since 2004.

In Boston, Lincolnshire, one in every ten residents is now an Eastern European.

Other towns - including Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, Northampton and parts of London - have seen their population increase by around 5 per cent.

In the East of England, there have been more than 60,000 arrivals.

But even these figures are likely to be a dramatic underestimate, as they do not include the children or partners of those registered to work here.

The self-employed are also not counted in the figures.

Council leaders have warned that schools, hospitals and social services are all struggling to cope, despite the valuable contribution being made by many of the new arrivals.

A spokesman for the Commission on Integration and Cohesion said last night: "There are challenges associated with migration, but it is important that these are reported and debated in a calm and rational way that does not exaggerate the scale of the challenge.

"Migration has helped to transform our economy and enrich the country both socially and culturally, but of course it is right we look at what more we can do to promote greater integration and cohesion."

Hamas uncovers PA, CIA intel trove

Hamas uncovers PA, CIA intel trove (Press TV)
Hamas has uncovered a trove of thousands of documents, including classified correspondence with Israeli forces.
Friday June 15th, 2007

After seizing the Palestinian Authority's Security headquarters in Gaza City on Thursday afternoon, Hamas fighters report they have seized tens of thousands of sensitive intelligence documents, including correspondence between the PA, the American CIA, and the Zionists regarding security issues.

Hamas officials said the newly found information would help them battle the Israeli regime's surveillance tactics.

A Hamas member said he and his men removed thousands of documents, video tapes and equipment from the compound. "I saw my name appeared at least four times in the intelligence documents - related to attempts to take me out. I saw details of surveillance against me and joint Fatah-Israeli plans to thwart our operations."

"If we release these documents, the entire world will be shocked, not just the Palestinians. The dozens of armored vehicles, RPG launchers and rockets, the hundreds of thousands of bullets we have - they are all nothing compared to the documents and data discs we uncovered."

"There are video tapes of surveillance against our fighters and their homes, wiretaps on our calls, the PA's entire method of operation has been exposed," he said.

The Hamas man said that the documents also implicate several Arab nations of involvement in the internal Palestinian power-struggle in an attempt to impair Hamas.

According to the Hamas source the papers also document the PA's cooperation with the CIA against Palestinian organizations, especially Hamas.

Releasing the documents would entail the approval of the Hamas leadership, said the Hamas source, noting that the documents would be used to prove the justness of Hamas' fight against the Palestinian security forces.

Euro Globalists: Anyone Who Resists EU Is a Terrorist

Euro Globalists: Anyone Who Resists EU Is a Terrorist
Huge move to bolster EU power scheduled this week

Moves to scrap national sovereignty and amplify the power of the EU many many times over are currently in full swing while those who so much as question the centralization have been branded 'terrorists'.

As reported in the Sunday Express yesterday, the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano told a news conference in Siena that "those who are anti EU are terrorists".

He attacked eurosceptics who warn that the promised new EU treaty will go too far in eroding the powers of member states, saying: "It is psychological terrorism to suggest the spectre of a European superstate."

The German President, Horst Kohler was also present with Napolitano and nodded in agreement at the Italian head of state's comments.

President Kohler also described the tactics of eurosceptics as "populistic, demagogic campaigning".

The words of the two men were seen by many in Germany and Italy as a thinly veiled attempt to link euroscepticism with the demagoguery and populism of the fascist regimes of Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

In reality the move towards a centralized superstate in Europe that supercedes nationally elected officials on virtually all aspects of governance mirrors almost exactly Hitler's vision for Europe in the 1930s.

So now you are a fascist if you try to resist fascism.

EU foreign ministers have gathered in Luxembourg ahead of Thursday's EU summit to negotiate the implementation by stealth of areas of the EU constitution regardless of its blanket rejection by voters in 2005. Tony Blair in his last action as British Prime Minister is expected to sign up to the treaty which will revive key areas of the rejected constitution.

Although the treaty, scheduled to be implemented before 2009, is being touted as a "charter of fundamental rights" in reality Britain's voting rights would be reduced by a third under the scheme and the hard-won veto on European directives would be torn up, removing the ability to opt out of EU laws. Britain could also lose the right to impose quotas on immigration. The majority of other EU nations have never even had such privileges in the first place.

Meanwhile incoming Prime Minister Gordon Brown is being hailed as a hero because he has said that he intends to give the British people a say in the matter! The British people are now virtually begging for Brown to take over from Blair completely ignorant of the fact that the two are peas from the same globalist pod.

Senior British Cabinet sources have warned that the new treaty will push hard for Brussels to be given a full-time unelected president, who would serve a five year term and speak as the voice of Europe on the world stage.

Tony Blair is reportedly front runner for such a role after he attended meetings that were kept secret to negotiate the move. It will therefore be no surprise to see Blair sign away British sovereignty to the body he is being pushed to take permanent control of.

The new treaty makes clear the EU would still develop a “single legal personality” - a bid to give the EU collectively more weight on the world stage and even allow it to represent collective member states at the UN.

Anyone who doubts that authority over criminal law and justice is not being signed away should note that last week Britain signed on to the EU police DNA database, handing Brussels access to DNA and fingerprint records and vehicle registration and driving licence details.

The EU has long been used as a tool for globalization and has now reached the point at which it has become a supranational federal government for Europe. Over the years, what was originally sold as a simple free trade treaty has slowly been built from the bottom up into an all encompassing monolithic authority over the entire region.

The areas it now seeks to dominate also include public health, social policy, transport, justice, agriculture, fisheries, energy, economic and social cohesion, the environment, internal and external trade, and consumer protection.

In a sweeping move that garnered surprisingly little attention last month the United States and the EU signed up to a new transatlantic economic partnership that will see regulatory standards "harmonized" and will lay the basis for a merging of the US and EU into one single market, a huge step on the path to a new globalized world order.

Very much like the EU, provisions for a North American Union such as NAFTA and GATT were sold at their inception as free trade agreements. As time has progressed we have witnessed the birth of the "Security and Prosperity Partnership", a treaty, which represents much more than a simple economic agreement, between leaders of the US, Mexico and Canada that has been agreed without Congressional oversight.

Documents obtained under the FOIA show that a wide range of US administrative law is being re-written in stealth under this program to "integrate" and "harmonize" with administrative law in Mexico and Canada, just as has become commonplace within the EU.

The proponents and architects of a one world order have worked long and hard behind the scenes for a long time pushing a gradual erosion of national sovereignty via a harmonization of all areas of life, economic, social, cultural and environmental.

Such harmonization and elimination of diversity is the only way to maximize the profit of the few at the expense of the many, while maintaining tight controls over society as a whole in order for a long continuation of that status quo.

The global corporate elite are the only ones who will benefit from essentially wiping out the free market and eliminating economic competition across nations.

Pendulum Finds Virtual Soulmate

Pendulum Finds Virtual Soulmate
Published: 12:50 EST, June 14, 2007

What's nerdier than creating an online avatar that fights dragons and raids strongholds? Creating a virtual pendulum that you can sync up to your real-life pendulum. Leave it to physicists to do just that, resulting in a mixed reality state in which the two pendulums swing as one.

Vadas Gintautas and Alfred Hübler of the Center for Complex Systems Research at the University of Illinios are the first to create a linked virtual/real system. They achieved the feat by connecting a real world pendulum with a virtual version that moved under time-tested equations of motion. To get the two pendulums to communicate, the physicists fed data about the real pendulum to the virtual one, and transferred information from the virtual pendulum to a motor that influenced the motion of the real pendulum.

The real and virtual pendulums swung at different rates when they were first introduced. After a brief encounter in a dual reality state, they simply couldn't connect. Friction quickly brought them to a halt. Recognizing that these two pendulums needed to have more in common, the physicists adjusted their swing frequencies until they were more or less on the same wavelength. Upon the next meeting, two pendulums could not help but move in mixed reality unison indefinitely, defying the friction forces that had ended their previous interreality relationship.

Believe it or not, their findings may prove useful. Mixed reality can occur only when the two systems are sufficiently similar. A system with unknown parameters may be synced up to a virtual system whose parameters are set by the physicists. The unknown factors in the real system can be determined by changing the virtual system until they shift from dual reality to mixed reality. Then, the physicists will have good estimates for the values of the unknown parameters.

What's more, it may help explore existing intersections between virtual realities and the material world. Popular online games such as World of Warcraft incorporate virtual economies in which players can buy, sell, and own property within the game. In the Warcraft economy, avatars deal in virtual gold, but the real players can buy it with real US dollars. Gintautas and Hübler are curious about the possibility of mixed realities emerging from these coupled economies.

"Chinese Style" Internet may be coming

What The "Chinese Style" Internet Will Look Like
Electronic police state: Say goodbye to high speed broadband when everything goes through a government censor

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Tuesday, June 19, 2007

Control freaks the world over, including most recently Tony Blair, have called for the introduction of a Chinese style Internet, where the World Wide Web is tightly regulated and free speech stifled on the whim of a government censor.

Here's what Internet 2, the Chinese format, will look like.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Say goodbye to downloading your favorite music or videos in seconds via high-speed cable or ADSL. There is no high speed broadband Internet in China. Since every website you access has to first pass through a government approved list, even the likes of Yahoo and Google lag and stumble onto your monitor, as if you're using dial-up.

If you don't live in a major city then expect your Internet connectivity to be degraded to a speed slower than dial-up.

The Communist Chinese government blocks any website that is mildly critical of the state and that even extends to mainstream foreign news outlets such as the BBC. Under the new format that Blair and others are proposing, the function of the Internet as a forum for political debate, protest and freedom of speech will simply cease to exist.

Say goodbye to video blogging - since popular personal video upload sites are notoriously hard to moderate, they too will disappear. Despite the best efforts of Google to cozy up to Red China, Google Video is blocked.

Say goodbye to e mail as a reliable form of communication. If the person you're writing to has an account with a mail service that the government doesn't like, the mail is simply returned to you and you're informed that the recipient is an "illegal user".

Keyword logging is also employed to block out individual words - if you include them in the e mail then you've just wasted your time in writing it because it doesn't get through.

"The Washington Post obtained a list of keywords used by a Chinese blog service provider to flag offensive material. Of 236 items on the list, 18 were obscenities. The rest were related to politics or current affairs," reported the Post in February 2006.

"Most words on this list can be posted on Chinese Web sites, but their presence quietly alerts editors to examine the messages that contain them and possibly take action. In tests, postings that included long sections of the list were allowed to remain on several sites, but quickly removed from others. One site also blocked the computer used to conduct the tests from posting anything else."

Say goodbye to Googling away to your heart's content. If you input too many sensitive words in one go, as I did with "Bush" and "Taiwan" - google.com ceases to be accessible at all and in some cases your Internet connection is instantly terminated.

In conclusion, the new Internet will be nothing more than an electronic police state, merely acting as a tool for the authorities to track down and incarcerate dissidents who dare question the government.

Jews behind campaign to boycott Israel

ewish Chronicle investigation reveals Jewish, Israeli academics justify their activity as part of struggle for Palestinian rights, ending Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories

LONDON - Many of the key players in the escalating British campaign to boycott Israel are Jewish or Israeli, the Jewish Chronicle revealed in an investigation published Thursday.
According to the investigation, the Jewish academics justify their stance as part of the struggle for Palestinian rights and ending Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories.

The report stated that a high proportion of the academics were deeply involved in UCU, the University and College Union, which last month sparked an international outcry by voting to facilitate a boycott of Israeli academic institutions.
Anti-boycott figures suggest that the campaign has been fuelled by a well-organized mix of far-left activists and Islamic organizations, the JC reported. In reality, the main proponents are a loosely knit collection of academics and trade unionists linked to groups such as the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Jews for the Boycotting of Israeli Goods, and Bricup, the British Committee for Universities of Palestine.
Israeli Haim Bresheeth, professor of media and culture at the University of East London, seconded the UCU motion, which called for consideration of the morality of ties with Israeli academia and for discussions on boycotting.
Prof Bresheeth told the JC that a boycott was not an easy decision. "I am Jewish and an Israeli, and I don't wish harm on either side. But how long can this occupation go on?"

Characterizing opposition to a boycott as insincere, he added, "What we are asking for is not violent. It is civil action against a military occupation."

According to the JC, Bricup has a large number of Jewish supporters, among them husband and wife Hilary and Steven Rose. Hilary, a professor of social policy at Bradford University, is Bricup's co-convenor alongside Prof Jonathan Rosenhead.

Her husband, an Open University biology professor, is the organization's secretary. They have been active in the boycott movement since 2002.
In an online article, Steven Rose wrote, "It really isn't good enough to attack the messenger as anti-Semitic or a self-hating Jew rather than deal with the message that Israel's conduct is unacceptable."
